SYNOPSIS
On November 13, 1996 Jane Doe awakes strapped to a bed inside of an Oregon State mental hospital in Salem, Oregon. She doesn't know where she is, who she is or how she got there. Psychiatrist sessions soon bring back memories of abduction, psychological torture and her escape from a madman. Jane begins to rehabilitate her body and mind as pieces of her memory start to paint an overall picture of her past.
On May 1, 1997 Jane is released. The following year during a late night game of poker, Jane convinces four friends from her past and present that she has narrowed down the search for her former captor to a small lake town called Detroit, Oregon. A simple night of storytelling becomes a detailed and colorful road trip plan with only one destination in mind. At 3:11am on Saturday, June 26, 1998, The Spades are born and their mission is simple - find "him" and unleash their own brand of hell fueled with insurrection, chaos and an unequivocal brand of brutal justice.
Paying homage to films such as The Shining, I Saw The Devil, and Kill Bill, Welcome To Detroit at its core is a tale of innocence, loss, brooding anger and unfiltered retribution. What Jane Doe doesn't know will become the only way back to where it all began.
